FINALLY!!!!! Ice is melting!!!!!

Finally getting some warm Wx here in Ct.
Ice is melting fast (About Time!!!) -> Should have open water by next week or next.

Got 2 new Fenwick 6.5 ft. microlight rods with 2 new Pflueger President microlight reels (8 stainless ball bearings).
Spooled on some light gray FireLine Micro Ice fishing line in 4 lb. test. (Some backing first).

Tried one yesterday on the Housatonic with a small silver/blue spoon! -> Talk about casting a country mile!!!!!!! Smooooooooth!!!!!!!!! Rods nice and limber!!
Hooked a 15" Brown trout on it (released).

Can't wait to try them on Kokanees!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Pflueger Presidential reel that I use mostly for trout and bass and it is great reel, one of the best I've ever owned thumbsup
