Fish finders for kayaks

I have a raft and a kayak and would like to get a small and hopefully inexpensive fish finder. Does anyone else use one and have an opinion? I would appreciate any feedback I can get!

Issue for raft and kayak is usually dealing with a battery. However, small and compact batteries are made for portable fish finders such as this one.

What are you using to get your presentation down in the water column? At this time of year, your biggest hurdle from your current fishing platforms is to get deep enough to where the fish have gone. 50' - 70' is where they are going to be hanging out. That is very tough to do without a downrigger.
