Took a drive to Mountainview, Wy. yesterday. Stopped off at the Maverik and they had the recreational passes for the Gorge for 2010. I picked up a annual pass. No change in fees.

A state Parks Pass in Utah is $75.00, if you have a fishing license, they cut you a break of $5.00. A federal pass for all national parks is approx. $75.00. I don't get out to other national parks that much so the Flaming Gorge rec. pass will suit me just fine. Anyways my wife has a disability which gets us into nat. parks. But she doesn't always accompany me to the Gorge.

I've got those passes tey give out to us old disabled people, and it's not because I can't fish, but was informed that the Gorge is not part of either national forest or state when it comes to recreation passes. I still have to pay the $35.00. Area around the gorge they tell me is BLM which is why it's not included. Someone please tell me they gave me some bad info and I'll ask for my money back from the last 10 years. Like they would give it to me anyway.laugh hyst

I remember when a Wyoming recipratory stamp for a fishing license was $2.00. Don't you just love overinflation?
