Flaming Gorge Report 3-29-2013

Fished Flaming Gorge today and caught two Kokanee and one Rainbow. Fished just south of the pipeline. Fishing two surface rods with the Splash Dodgers, and the two lures were the Pink Hook’er Squid and the Shiny Raspberry Dakota Spinner. Heading out again in the morning for a few hours.

How did you do on Saturday?

We caught two rainbows on Saturday, wind came up at 11:00 am. A friend fishing the same area got 3 Kokanee and 4 rainbows. Kept the Koke's and 1 bow. Chartreuse dakota spinners were working better Saturday.

I have not been out but I have seen a few kokanee being brought in. One fisherman was fishing 60-80 feet near the pipleline and caught several last week and this week he netted 5 on Saturady.
