Furuno FCV-587

I have purchased a furuno fcv-587 fish finder. I,m trying to decide what GPS unit i want to pair to it. I do all fresh water lake fishing. I would like to here from those that are running the furuno (587 585 620 & 627) and see what GPS unit you have decided to go with and what has worked best for you. Thanks for any info you can share with me.

I have the 585 never hooked it up to a gps always used my garmin chartplotter. dfly
