Since I didn’t fish yesterday because of a headache and I woke up way to early this morning , I went fishing at my local kokanee lake. It took me awhile to find them. They were in about 50 foot of water about half way down. They all came on Dick Nite Pink Splatter Dodgers and Wannafish A Lure Pink Splatter Squiddy Thing. I forgot the corn so the hooks were tipped with pink and green Berkley maggots.
I got there about 7am and was done at 8:15am. The sun came up over the hills and it was not normal. I think it was red because of the smoke from the forest fires in eastern Washington.
As this kokanee year comes to an end I want to thank Dick Figgins for the Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodger he gave me. Having 2 increased my speedy limits. The fish, kokanee, trout, landlocked coho, and saltwater (Sekiu) coho like Dick Nite Dodgers! For the full size coho I doubled them and salmon sized (hooks) the Pink Squiddy Thing.
Wish I could have fished more but work got in the way!
