Last week I kinda of threw out a cry for help and pizzaman answered. I met in Evanston, WY and we headed over to the Gorge to teach me how to catch Kokes. We fished the area he said was called breeze hill. He managed to put 5 kokes in the boat and lost a couple of more. My wife and I never got a hit. He had a few suggestions on what I need to try, more bend in my dodger, longer setback behind rigger, use gulp maggots instead of gulp 1"fry. That makes three days over the last two weeks and still no kokes. I did buy an electric downrigger, Walker kokanee, that I will be returning tonight. The downrigger died before the day did. Anyone else interested in showing me what I am doing wrong.

fishing has been slow the past weeks on the gorge. probably not your fault you didn't get a fish. keep trying and never give up. Also try cannon down riggers . they are a good down rigger for a fair price. I am not a fan of Walker down riggers because I had a pair of them and sold them.

I have pair of Walker down riggers and just love them. I have never had any problems with them. I like the auto stop and how easy they are to use. What do you like about your Cannon down rigger over the walkers?

jekern, the kokes aren't hitting much right now as they are getting ready to spawn. If you are needing some tips and information on how to catch more, I think the second weekend in March at the South Town Expo Center they have the I.S.E. Show. You could talk to a lot of folks there can give you some good information
