Went up to the gorge to find great weather and good fishing.

Spent most of my time mack fishing I got 9 the biggest was 25lbs. Did fish for Kokes Monday afternoon got some up around 3lbs thay were coming to the boat pretty fast. The watermelon dodger(RMT) was out fishing every thing else I tried, as for squids it didnt seam to matter on color so long as it had some pink in it . Spent most of my time around the pipe.

Your the Man Aaron. Wish I could have gotten over there with you. Man the weather was fantastic. couldn't have asked for much better. Its gonna be a great summer.

I think we are on the big fish cycle this year ,most of the kokes I caught looked like the ones in the pics darn fat and good tasting

If what has happened in the past, holds true. Then I think you are right ,this will be a great year for 3 lb fish. Two years ago everyone was catching lots of small fish(14-16 ) inch. .Last year them fish hadn't grown much in length but had grown in girth. Lots and lots of two 1/2 lb fish last year. This year I think we will see some real nice fat three lb fish, being the norm. In the later part of the year they will hopefully be four lb fish.
