101chromefish101Went to Green Peter for a couple of days. It was windy, of course but the weather was warm and nice. The water temperature was 70 degrees. We found most fish at about 50 feet. We were only able to land 9 fish. Kokanee were running around 13 inches. They were nice and fat with good color. Was a good trip but would have liked to have gotten more fish.

Hey thanks for the report... I'm going to fish it tomorrow... Did you fish in just one location or did you hunt around the lake for them?

We fished everywhere. North shore to dam. South shore. Around the Island. Out in the middle. The schools were scattered around here and there.

i plan on being there in the morning, what would be your best bet? green and pink at 40 or so in the morning and pink and blue 60 to 65 in the late morning on is what im thinking. i think we will try towards the dam in the morning. Brian

Better get there early, i was up there riding the bike at 7 this morning. Thistle creek was full of pickups/trailers, the ramp above, was filling fast, and when i came back past T Creek, they were starting to park along the main road with pickups and trailers. Then past the ramp there were several boats coming up as i left. One thing i noticed, people parking cars, and suv's in the pickup/trailer slots, makes it bad for the fishermen, and boaters when they take the spots intended for them.

Friday Report

Went Up Friday. Ended Up With 6 By Noon. 12 - 14" Tried Everything To Pick Up The Pace But Very Spotty And Very Particular Schools. Could Drag Through Any School With Little Or No Response. All Caught At 50 Ft. Water Temp Range From 69.5 By Dam To 72 In The Inlets. Best Success Was With Small Shasta Dodger And Plain Pink Hoochie, And Pautkski Purple Corn.
