Throw the bobber away. These poles allow you to feel everything. My daytime rods are 5.5 shimano crucial rods. Any 5.5 to 6 foot light to ultralight graphite rod with fast action will serve you well. Make sure to use braid for your mainline with a flouro leader in both setups.
