My son wanted to go fish on his off days so we went up to the gorge Tuesday afternoon finding great weather for trolling. We fished till dark but never found any kokes over the 2.5lb range. We camped out on water and fished for burbot getting half a dozen befor midnight. Got out before daylight trolling, and had tough time getting anything to hit until around 10:30 when we were non-stop action with kokes at 3.2 - 3.5lb. At one time all four poles went off at once. We were using two sets of Shattered dodger trailed with Black Pearl spinners, a Purple Leapin Lizard dodger trailed with Plum Deadly spinner, and a Silver Streak dodger with a Bronco spinner behind. The Black Pearl set-up was most productive. These are the Kokanee Creek Tackle gear. What a great mid-week trip for dad and son on the water...
