Kokanee Bait

Just wanted some information on bait. Is everyone still using the salmon eggs mixed with corn. And using corn on the hook. Or is there something out there new that works better.

They run about $5 a jar that lasts the entire season and even into the hardwater season. I think they are the best representation for the shoepeg corn that koke fishermen rave about and is a good option for a state like UTAH that doesn't allow real corn for bait.

I will have to try that bait. I will still use the old standby but when you are only fishing for a week you better go loaded for bear.
