Lake Berryessa 9-19-10 More Vampire Action....

A Berryessa report from a week ago Sunday. it was almost like deja vu of one year ago on a cloudy and dreary looking day that even had a few sprinkles. The good news is this meant no lake lice to bother us. There were exactly 4 boats out there Kokanee fishing so recon was limited but the late season vampires were still there for the taking. Jenna and I managed 7 fish to take home from 15 to 18.5" and a few lost along the way. All fish around 85 feet and they bit a variety of lures. Here's the picture show from that trip….

When you wake up at 3:30 to go fishing with Dad… you get to be captain!

The lines were set and the lake was wide open for action…

The Vampires were clearly ready to battle in waves...

It didn't take long for some action…

No complaints from the captain… and no we did not catch these at the dam… that's just where we took the photo!

and best of all… no lines no waiting at the ramp at Berryessa… that's priceless.
