I have never been to cavanaugh (skagit county) anybody recommend the best route to take there and where abouts on the lake is the boat launch? I would becoming from the south, king county area.

Lake Cavenaugh
From the south I would take I-5 to the Conway/Highway 534 exit. go east to highway 9. then north to lake cavenaugh road. It's about 15 miles se to the lake. take s shore drive to the se end of the lake. If you get to the Fire hall, turn around and go back about 100 yards to the launch site.
