Lake Mary Ronan...

So I'm headed down to LMR tomorrow. I have basically Zero experience on this lake but only hear about guys catching Kokanee during the night on this lake. Now I've been to other lakes where guys make that claim and I've always been able to catch Kokes on these other lakes during the day.

Can anyone give me a location to start looking for the Kokes on this lake?

Missed you in time for your trip.
We have always gone around to the boat ramp on the back side, and go straight out. There's a large deep hole out there set up almost anyplace over the hole. (its not really "deep" just deeper than the rest of the lake)
Its been years since I fished there though, before the perch got illegal dumped in the lake. Used to leave a homemade house out there all winter.

Remember, for some unkind reason LMR is closed to fishing from midnight to 3AM for salmonrolleyes101thumbsdown101

Funny thing about the whole night fishing thing for Kokes....I've never done it...never felt like I needed too. If I can find Kokes I can usually figure something that they will bite on....

I used to be that way, this year is proving different, much different.
