Lake Tahoe Fishing Report

Well were packing up and leaving beautiful Lake Tahoe. The fishing overall was slow. Hit all the same old spots. On the boat we would average at least 3 to 4 Kokanee. I talked to some other fishermen and they were having about the same success. We never did not see any other boats catching a hole lot either. Fish running about average and some very small. Fishing overall was still great. Just not as good in years pass. Over all a great fishing trip.

I'd heard the reports of the giant kokes there early this year and was hoping you'd be reporting on some 20 inchers. But like you say, it is still a beautiful place to stay.

20 inchers maybe 16 years ago when I first fished the lake. Those were some of the biggest Kokanee I ever caught. I have not seen those big ones ever since.
