In regards to the battery hook-up..... Two 12v batteries connected in parallel = 12v and the sum of the two amperages. Two 12v batteries connected in series = 24v and no add in amperage. Mathematically it is written volts X amps = watts, simple rule. More simply, if you connect the positive terminal of one battery with the negative terminal of the other, you have connected a series circuit and added the two voltages together. If you connect the batteries so that the two like terminals are connected, you will not change the voltage but you will increase your amperage. I hope that helps with understanding about connecting two batteries.

kokes at the gorge

hello coconuts,i have a question for anyone with an answer?im discouraged .i have been a river fisherman most of my life and do quite well . now that i have start lake fishing primarily, everytime i go to the gorge i catch a coup,le and thats it .kokes are my favorite to eat and catch, however i suck at catching them.i have a 19'monterey ,trolling plate fishfiner and 2 down riggers.normally when i am targeting kokes i either fish with small kokonee pop gear and worm or silver dodger and a needle fish tipped with maggot or power bait nuggets.i went last week and not 1 koke.its very frustrating to be such an avid fisherman and do as poorly as i do.any tips would be helpful.
