New in Utah

I just started fishing this spring with the intent to catch kokanee up on Causey. It took all summer with nothing but finally caught my first fish, a kokanee!! I was so excited I screamed at my friend. Well, now I'm extra hooked (hehe). Any advice on bait, lures, anything is appreciated. You all seem like a great group.

It was actually only my 2nd time on Causey, the first time I broke my pole when I got stuck in some rocks. Got a much better pole now though. I don't know anyone else that even fishes so I was really happy to find this forum.

Welcome Shae. 101welcomw Its easy to figure out how and what to use when you start surfing around in our forum. Reading posts of where watering holes are, the tackle craft shows some good ideas of colors and what to use, oh yes, take a look at the boats or many rigs. A lot of knowledge here for you to dream and get excited with.
