Hi all! New to this board. Fished for Kokes on Merwin and Yale back in 1988-89. After a 22 year gap, I got out on the lake last summer a couple times with the one and only Kokonuts Richard. The action was slow, but we managed to get a few. Nevertheless, it was such a blast that I got totally hooked. I've been salmon fishing off & on for the last 10 years, but I gotta say that Kokanee fishing can be just as fun, if not more fun than chasing the big cousins in the Columbia and elsewhere.
I'll be fishing out of a restored 1986 10' Livingston (which is the same exact boat I fished from in the late 80's). It was given to me by my grandpa and I decided to make it like-new. So if you see a 10' funky looking hull with downriggers on the sides and the passengers having a blast, swing by and say hi. If you see the same boat taking on water, swing by and throw me a rope!
Looking forward to meeting more of you on the forum and on the water!
