Got back from the Gorge last night. Our trip was cut a bit short due to outdrive failing yesterday morning just as we got to our fishing area. So trolled with kicker there and hit spots on way back to Buckboard while picking up a dozen kokes. Still, a small problem compared to what several groups from California were dealing with with motor homes and such.

Overall the fishing was fair for us with probably 50 kokes to the boat over the three days. Most in the 14-15" range, although we did pick up sever 2.5 - 3+ fish on Tues.

Fish seemed to be scattered in big schools, and when you did find them they were not always cooperative. And, they seemed to be disapearing magicians - here one pass, gone the next.

Our best set up by far was a pink tiger wild thing and pink/clear hoochie, although yesterday a pink/white apex produced the last six fish (where it did nothing for us two days before). Still, as we asked around, everyone had different set ups that were magic for them.

Anyway it was a great trip. We had several meals of salmon while there and to take home.

Now to get that outdrive fixed.

Tight lines,
Chuck
