I went to the Gorge on the 7th thinking I might get to put the boat on the water and found that wasn't going to happen for a while yet. There is some open water out side of the marina but you can't get to it.

I headed north and found lots of good ice to get on. I was able to hook up with a few Macs and even got a few on the ice. The weather was extremely cold.

I think the ice will be sticking around for a bit, the morning temps averaged about -16.

if the weather is permitting me and the wife are going up again on Saturday and I will go down and check on the lake again.

Yes, i missed the show last year due to work. However, i will be there Thursday afternoon, All day Friday, saturday and Sunday. Will be good to see everyone and catch up.
