Odell lake report

Been here since Thursday 18th arrived just for kicks salt creek tunnel on 58 is open 24 hrs a day they haven't up dated the site. Tons of fished marked just hard to get them to cooperate averaging about 10 every morning. Wind picks up around 10:30 and been staying that way all day. One guy said kokanee kids orange mysis bugs were working will try them tomorrow. Have no idea why the fishing is slow.I checked water temperature had 54 degree water at 55 ft had 46 degrees at 70. one we are catching are at 55 with 35 ft set back on DR 100 on long lines.Talk to one guy been averaging 6 fsh jigging.Either the lake is ready to turn over fsh got lock jaw for us.

Finished up Sunday its been crazy some doing better than others went to orange with kokanee kids mysis shrimp which was are best day with 30 fsh. When the Sun hits the water the bite has been over.Changed are set back to 15 ft off the DR ball at 75 ft down when the sun hit the water. The fsh have been getting bigger they were nice. See were on the water at first light and couldn't keep the lines in the water doubles etc. I did notice maybe a algie bloom starting. We notice there was no shortage of fsh marked fsh from 30 ft to 70 fsh thick .
