Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Originally from the Idaho Falls area, I recently moved my fam to the Treasure Valley. Ive fished for kokanee off and on in recent years, but only through the ice and in lakes like Mackay Res and Ririe Res. Last year, on a tip I took my family to Deadwood res and we had a ball. Trolling pop gear and wedding rings, we boated 50 fish during the week we were there, and my boys loved it. So, this year I have plans to get back to Deadwood, but I would really like to figure out how to catch them in Lucky Peak, Anderson Ranch and Arrowrock as well. A friend and I went to Arrowrock a month ago, but got skunked. Today we finally made it out again, and went to spring shores, and boated two kokanee. Pretty sure it was just luck though, and I am looking forward to figuring it out more!!!
