I guess this is mainly for you fisherman that can't use white corn -- how does this product perform? Worth a try at the Gorge?

Sorry I guess it too real !!! Pautzke took Washington-grown sweet corn and processesed it just like their famous Ball O' Fire® salmon eggs, infusing it with secret family ingredients that make it irresistible to Kokanee salmon.

Dang - I knew it sounded too good....

Everybody has their favorite bait to tip with, but I actually use and like this stuff, in the "natural" color though.

Maggots tipped on my lures work just fine for me but have tried Kokanee Fire Corn.

Just want to ensure since hominy (corn) which is illegal in Utah and at the Gorge - is this a LEGAL bait at those locations?

Bait
Utah Admin. Rule R657-13-12
While you are fishing, it is unlawful to:

Use or possess corn, hominy

--> Pautzke took Washington-grown sweet corn

we tried it out one weekend on my boat. on one side, 2 poles used my shoepeg with tuna oil and 2 used kokanee special oil on 2 downriggers. on the other side, 2 poles used the pautzke green and 2 used the red we all caught fish but the shoepeg side by far caught the majority.there maggots on the other hand seam to work better and we use them when the corn isn't producing. dfly
