Polish/ wax for dodgers

I had a can of good ol McGuires carnauba out the other day and decided to polish up a dodger. Wow. What a shine. Only concern is potential odor from wax. Odor was mild. Maybe it will wear off quickly. Anyone ever tried this. Any other polishes to try?

I've had luck with Mother's metal wadding and a product called Blue Magic.
