Reason for poor Lucky Peak fishing

The Idaho Fish and Game recently discussed the poor fishing at LP on their SW Idaho fishing report and forecast. This is their explanation. No surprise, I suppose:

"Kokanee fishing at Lucky Peak and Arrowrock Reservoirs has been extremely slow. High water and cold temperatures are the culprit. Anglers are reporting some trolling success with trout."

makes sense...

I figured as much because since there is so much water moving down and current that comes with it there is no established thermocline for them to congregate to hence they are scattered and unpredictable....I figured that out on my own...when they finally start filling the reservoir again it will improve drastically....my thoughts anyway.
