From the reports I've read on Washington Lakes.com they've been hitting them already, last couple of posts sounded like it was slowing down a little. Land-locked coho, not kokanee are present in this lake.I've fished it but not this year. Good luck,Bob R
A couple of my outfitters fished it last week and had very easy limits of Silvers. Using Hoochies and Dodgers w/ pink Gulp maggots and scent. They launched from Mossyrock yet the water was really low and the dock was still dry docked. They were over by the dam and working the east side on top and down around 10 ft.
Fish were running 18-20 inches. Before Memorial Day launch is free.
Chartruese and Pink are the main popular colors yet the Chartruese was great on top and as the fish moved deeper Pink became the main color.
I hit the lake about 6 times last year and it was a blast. Those Silvers meat was very orange and great flavor!!!!! Trolling speed about the same 1.2 to 1.8.
Get there early the weather can change and it can start getting rough after around 10. Also be very watchful of logs while running.
