Heading to Riffe this weekend, it's early I know. Anyone have some info on which part of lake might produce the best (big lake). Did a search, not much info on this lake. Does it get any pressure later in the season?
Land locked Coho, I know :)

You may have some luck up by the dam. Not sure what the water level is, but the launch would be free this time of year at the camp ground by the dam if there is enough water to launch. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. We will be camping at the other end of the lake at Taidnapum Park. I fished it once last year, at this time of year right out of the launch on the east end of the lake. I guess we might want to motor down by the dam this time.

If you are talking about motoring down there by boat, that would be a long trip if the wind comes up.

The fishing did not dissappoint! fished for 2-1/2 hours Saturday and boated four limits. Fish were all about 12" and in nice shape. Saturday was a bit windy coming back around 10:30 am, 2' chop. Sunday the weather was better, no wind. Two of us limited in about an hour. We were down a couple miles from the boat ramp on the east end. Water temp, 39 degrees. Fish were at 23' and caught with UV dodger, sling blade with pink hootchies. One pole had Ford fenders and a orange apex and was long lined about 50' behind the boat with an ounce of weight. Didn't seem to matter what you were using, they were hitting it. Small packs of 4-5 fish, not really schooled up yet.
