Rimrock is full of kokanee, though the average fish is likely to be only 8 or 9 inches. I grew up on that fishery and it seemed to peak every 4 or 5 years depending upon weather conditions. In dry years, the lake is drained (or nearly so) for irrigation and untold thousands of kokes are flushed down the river to die. Peak fishing is in late May through early July. By this time of year the lake level is dropping fast.
Although Clear Lake almost surely has a few kokes, I never knew of anyone to fish for them or heard of any being caught. Strictly planted rainbow and the occaisional dolly varden (both lakes). The state record dolly was taken from the Tieton River many years ago.
