Howdy folks, I belong to a few fishing forums here in WA. 20 years as an addicted steelheader, both winters & summers but the summers are better eating by far has kept me in the PNW.... A Southerner by birth & a Rebel by choice!!!
I first fished for these tasty little critters many years ago with a friend but I didn't have a boat to continue. I finally got a sled for river fishing and my son, who joined the Coast Guard got stationed in P.A. (Port Angeles) 5 yrs ago so got back into it at Lake Southerland. What a great place to fish, beautiful scenery to get there, the green water and these polished chrome torpedoes are a sight to be seen!!!!
Fast forward to present day with the son on the SE Atlantic coast N. C., I sold all the Kokanee gear after he left and just kept fishin the rivers for salmon & steelhead.
I have a friend that wants to get into it so since I'm retired, got a boat, gear & I got time. tooexcited
