The ISE will be here in Salt Lake City, Mar. 15 - 18, 2012

I went to the show in Sacramento last month. That was a great show. Got to see some very good friends at the RMT booth as well as meeting some of the forum abusers. There were plenty of tackle vendors from the local area which they do alot of advertising on fishing forums.

As I was looking at the SLC exhibitor list for 2012, I didn't see any tackle vendors listed. Not even Rocky Mountain Tackle was listed. There are plenty of hunting & fishing outfitters and charters. You can still catch some events from charter services, kids fishing pools, and dock dogs. It is sad that high dollar folks run this show with no one to take care of the little things such as the fisherman trying to get good specials to add to their arsenal like Sacramento. I always try to go to the ISE here but this year it doesn't look good.

I have good reason to hit the show up in Sacramento with my sons that live there. I can plan a trip when the ISE is there. Its costs $15 to enter and $10 for parking. I would pay that price here if it was worth it.

Roger, you heard how the space price at the Sac show pushed out some of the regular vendors this year. It sounds like the high cost of exhibitor space in SLC has already run off all the fishing guys.

the "Boise Sportsman show" is march 1-4th i dont know what venders will be there but kokaneetackle.com (The Tackle Shack) will have a booth selling all the major brands of kokanee tackle (rmt, crystal basin, shasta, KCT just to name a few) they also have another site called endofthelinetackle.com that sells salmon and steelhead stuff so they should have it all. I will be there helping the Owner out since he is a major advertiser here on KFF. Come say HI if your there. we will be having some great deals and show specials only.

Don't worry Roger, RMT will be there as always. We actually should have a bigger store this year than last. Can't explain why they didn't list us.

I've found from year to year that the exibitor list is never very accurate. However, Dave is right, the booth fees have continued to go up and up. Along within costs to travel to these shows get higher and higher each year.

Like Rob said, will be therethumbsup

I traveled 700mi to shop from you guys. I could make another exception again here in SLC. Maybe its time to break away from the ISE and pitch a circus tent up somewhere. 101idea101 whistlersmother 101ok101
