I can see it now, all along the highway fishermen with a rod in one hand and their thumb out with the other!

Ok, thread has gotten long; good stuff if you are in the know. On a more notable note. Two years ago during the high water year, when do you remember the water turning muddy. I know I was up there in july and it was all screwed up. I know weather this year will effect it differently; But does anyone have a good guesstament of when we will see the muddy soup and when it will settle. I'm trying to plan my trips up there this year.

Hey, I remember that day. Does that make me an accessory to the act just by witnessing that? What does Mark think?

Spring Break Gas Prices

Just got back from a trip to Lake Havasu from Salt Lake.

Gas prices were around 3.55 per gallon for regular in Utah, Nevada, & Arizona.

In Needles, CA they were 80 cent to $1 more per gallon (this was last week). Regular was $4.59.

So fishing will be a little cheaper (gas wise) at the Gorge - don't fill up till you get on this side of the Serria's.

will be headed over in June for 2 weeks of koke kill'n.

tank up in Pocatello 100 gal. of 87 octane pure non ethanol boat gas.

then top the diesel off at Loaf and Jug Green River, Wy present $3.87g

Dodge Cummins, camper and 20ft Trophy crammed with gear. freezer on back cargo ramp of truck. couple jugs of Maker's Mark for those cold nights setting by the fire.
inside toilets in the boat and camper, but who uses them?
Don't PEE in the lake, Finns fish in it.

God fills the freezer and keeps the fish hawks blind.
