Hey you all! Excited to try my hand again this year. Last year went with my wife and we caught some nice Kokanee launching at Sheep Creek using our motorized raft. Anyway we just had a baby and this year my wife wants to just go and wait on the shore with the baby while I'm out fishing. I remember Sheep Creek didn't have much but parking. Are there any areas around the gorge preferably Utah side, with like a beach or pavilion that my wife and baby could just hang out and relax while I'm out?

Stateline beach, just off the road to Lucerne would be a nice place for them to sit under the umbrella, layout or play in the water.

That sounds great! I take that is on the north side of Linwood Bay going to Lucerne. I've only been to Sheep Creek last year. So around Lucerne launch on the Utah side where do you think I would have more luck? Linwood Bay, Antelope Flats, Horseshoe, Red Cliffs or Stateline?

Stateline is not very far from the Pipeline if you can motor a mile or so each way.

if you go to Stateline I would buy the WY reciprocal fishing permit for $10, the kokes are bigger in WY
how big is your motorized raft and how safe is it, if the wind comes up and it does, you may not make it back.
so you need to think about that when thinking of a place to fish.

The mountain wall on the north side of swim beach is a good area and swinging around that tip going north, also straight across the lake from there is Rawlins Draw which is a good productive area for kokes. You'll see the pipeline there which has been mentioned. This is all Wyoming area so the reciprocal stamp is a must. Also, you must have the AIS decal from WY affixed to your boat to fish there side. Nonresident fee is $30 which you can order online or purchase at certain locations. I always opt online so I won't have to travel looking to purchase a decal. Wyoming fish & game is responsive in getting you the decal when online ordering. As mentioned be careful of the winds that come up.
