Timothy lake

I was wondering if anyone fishes Timothy Lake for kokanee. I noticed a 25 fish per day limit which makes me think there is a fairly large population but never hear about it being a place to fish. I am thinking of trying it and wonder if it is a trip to enjoy the scenery or a place to make sure the smoker is ready when I get back. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I have only managed to scratch out a few small koks there, there are some there, early spring is your best bet, lake is only 70ish feet deep and surface column is already 70+ degrees. lots o rainbows and tons of crawdads...

thanks for the report. I have heard that there are plenty of crawdads. If I get there I may need to throw in the pots. Thanks again
