Toad Lake, Whatcom County

I have been told that there are kokanee in Toad Lake. Has anyone on here ever fished it? I plan on giving it a try on sunday 7-25. Any tips would be much appreciated?

I've never fished it, and had heard that the state had quit stocking kokes there,,,,BUT, the WDFW web site says they stocked 10K, 15K and 30K fry there the last 3 years, so there should be some in there.

Old post I know...but yeah they are in there. Didn't have any luck as once it was too late(surface feeding) and the other time the water was too warm and it was dead.
Up our way samish is the best bet for kok's
