I have an interest in getting in on this action in the future. What is the procedure on getting in? Is it a return of previous players that gets selected? Or is it a lottery selection? How many to a team? Entry FEE? 101smilie101

There are 300 teams with no more than 3 to a team. The entry is $175 per team. They alow the folks who have played the year prior to enter first, i think they give us two weeks to have our forms back to them (we have till the 11th of Apr) they will also take new apps but set them aside. On the 11th they take new apps on a firt come. If they did not mail you an app you will need to call the Villa to get one. This derby fills up FAST!!!!

There is also the Buckboard tournament. BAsically the same as the villa tourney. Just ran from Buckboard. Basically the same rules. You can get in on this one still its in June. Go to the Buckboard marina web site and it will come up. Print of the application, pick your team members, pay your money and come get in on the fun. its not to late for this one for you to get in on it

I agree with Mark the BB derby is a blast, plus the weather is always great....NOT!! one thing with the BB derby its more about the fishing and less about the party. I like the BB derby better.
