so now that the weathe is going to warm up are the kokanee still going to bite??? not that i have gotten them to bite for me up to this point at lake stevens lol i know in san diego the trout just shut down when the weather gets hot.
 
Yes the kokanee in Stevens will continue to bite as the summer progresses. In fact the fishing the last week or so probably has become more consistent.

The rub of course is that with warmer water temperatures is that the fish will generally be deeper. Kokanee preferred temperature is in the low to mid-50s. That means to consistently catch fish now one has to fish down at least 35 feet below the surface.

thanks for the info, i may try nd hit it this weekend, been wlking the skykomish,cascade and skagit with no luck, i,m sure the wife thinks i,m going to strip bars when i never bring any fish home lol
