We sure are having some teaser weather here. This keeps up and I'll have to start thinking about an early trip to the Gorge.

I will be there April 9th,10th and 11th. Gonna start the year off and get after them early. I am a Kokaholic and need a fixtooexcitedlaugh hyst

Roger, my visit dates are starting to look like April as well. Guess we'll have some decisions to make.

Hey, this could be a little get together for some if things work out. Get your dates lined up and lets see what we all have.

Well you know what they say about March,in like a lamb, out like a lion.It was a absolutely beautiful day here in Green River. With that being said,we will have to see what the month of March brings. I usually shoot for around the 15th of April to splash the boat. I think the earliest I was on the water was the 25th of March, about four years ago.

Dave, if its April, the Gorge is in on one of those days. Some of the local lakes should be in good shape too. Strawberry doesn't come ice off until after May 1st.

Roger, just sent you a PM with the anticipated dates. The 24th, 25th or 26th are potential fishing days.

Two years ago we hit some open pockets with the boat on my spring break, around the 20th of March. Got a few macs... but nothing worth shouting about. We're going to wait until around the second week of April to start our boat fishing this year. Seems like any earlier than that and I end up re winterizing the boat because we get one last cold snap.

Okay, I say we'll wait... but, if I hear word of open water it gets awful hard to resist the temptation to put the boat on it! haha Winters almost over, I cant wait!
