With a front slider? I haven't seen anyone do koke leaders with the slider. I've learned to tie my own for Kings but don't use a slider for Kokes.

I am with Dave never seen or heard of any one using them for kokanee. don't know if there would be an advantage for a small salmon like that. I just know you don't want your hooks solid to the lure so the fish doesn't use that as leverage to tear it out of his mouth. dfly

Why sliders bad idea solid is the only way to go but a little more experience they will figure it out.
