Me and Duroboat came down to Yale for the annual KFF lunch at Yale park, we camped at Beaver Bay what a great camp ground. As we pulled into the campground we spotted Lowe1648mt of the forum and camped all weekend next to him and his wife, what friendly people you meet on the forum and we shared fishing stories all weekend long. Saturday 25 Jun we launched at the beaver bay camp at 0500 and off to the fishing grounds we went, we fished all morning in front of Yale Park. Let’s put it this way fishing was so hot we had 16 fish by 0630 and the rest by 1030 for a total of 32 fish. The bait of choice was a RMT super squid chartreuse or pink with glow beads, father murphy’s glow bug, all tipped with pink maggots and DNA scent behind a Vance’s dodger. Man what a day, nice and calm and the view of Helens was spectacular.

We were up there over fathers day weekend and the fishing was red hot then as well we, brought home 23 but threw back at least 10 didn't, want to clean them all and some were a bit smallish anyway. UV Sling Blades w/ green and lite pink squids tipped with Tuna Corn worked for us. Great day.

good to hear people are still catchin'em up there my buddy and I went to the KFF day and that was the last time we'd been there and thanks for the input on the depthsTrollNFisher
