    Interesting, as my huminbird does the same thing ! It started this last summer. Mine will do it when the sun is on the back of it through the window. If I put a towel behind it, it wont do it as much but still will. A call to huminbird got me a--- adjust your sensitivity,didnt help so sent it...

    I here ya on the time thing seems like I get less of it for fun every year. My friend was using berkley Power bait in a 3" power minnow in a silver grey shad color for the bass and just twiching the rod tip every once in while.

    I have never used the gulp maggots before, do they stay on the hook very well? Real maggots seem to stay on very well, but they are hard to come buy in my neck of he woods.

    I have had great luck with the Abu-Garcia C-4 series of reels. We have several Abu's that have been around 15 years or so. They are strong enough to handle steelhead ,pike etc, but are small enough to be compact . No line counters, but I dont realy have a use for them. All of our koke rods...
