My son always pulls the boat to the end of the dock, if room, and around to the outside of the dock when possible. Sometimes my merc is a little cold blooded and takes a bit to start.

My son and I have run into a few of the jackasses who are so important they have no tolerance or respect for other folks launching or on the lake. Fishing is supposed to be fun.

Went to Merwin yesterday got there ~7:30. Several rigs in the lot. Fished until 1pm, not a single koke, a few squaws. Talked to 6 other boats, same thing. I think they take them in for the weekend.This has not been a good year for me. Anyone heard anything from Yale or Swift?

Riffe posting Yep, I read it . Been fishing Riffe for many years. This is the worst I have ever seen the worms up there. Didn't even see them until about 3 years ago. Not worried about the meat, but the future of the fish.

At the cleaning station, there is a posting about them, if you clean them well and cooking thoroughly they are safe. I've been catching and cooking them for them ever since I first started seeing them with no ill results. I'll prbably wait a couple of weeks for the water to rise and try again...

Went to Merwin today. Should have known from the fact there were only 3 rigs in the parking area. Fished for 4 hours, not one hit! last year we limited every day at this time. Don't know what we did wrong, Dupont spinners not being legal. Don't think I will waste anymore time up there.
