Building show content for “The OUTDOOR LINE; 710 ESPN. The weekly segment starting in a few weeks will be “The NW Kokanee Zone”. Anyone want to give their personal view of the top (5) in Washington State. Do you guys think the technique needs to change all that much from location to location? Are there some commonalities or large differences when you compare these locations? Same or different in depth, trolling speed, color morning, color afternoon, type of bait, and size of gear... Looking for info that makes these fisheries either completely different or very much the same.
This will be a 15 week review of the TOP 15 Kokanee destinations in the NW. ie; Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The comparisons will be In-State comparisons as well as State to State. This will give all kokanee anglers a perspective on some of the kokanee fisheries you have thought about doing, but have yet to make the road-trip.
I am not looking for “the secret” it’s all about the general information, as mentioned above. Again, build content and useful comparisons. I have a ton of info for Oregon and Idaho, time to tap into the knowledge form the home-base kokanee freaks here in Washington. I can’t wait to get on the lakes and reservoirs with you guys. Looking forward to a great season.
