16 July 2011, Woke up at 0300 and looked out the window and said I thought monsoon season was over and it was summer. Man it's wet so I put on the rain gear and headed for the shop and was drenched by the time I reached the shop. I double checked to make sure I had all the pieces for the top and side windows and picked up Duroboat rider of the forum and off to American we went. Launched the boat at 0500 and fished till 0900 we got 6 kokes and lost 4 more. Used RMT squid chartreuse with a Vance's dodgers, and a green/chartreuse squids with pink maggots and DNA scent. All fish were caught at the 27-40 foot mark of the riggers 4 fish were caught at 29 feet. Man it was WET but what me motivated me was that my favorite people "skiers" wouldn't be out and they weren't. In fact there were only 6 other boats heck yea let's hope it rains the rest of the summer.laugh hyst

I was out there later that day and 2 of us limited in under 2 hours! I found that the Koke's in American are more aggressive from 5-9...

Oh... and I tie my own lures it seems to help
