5 July 2011, Launched the boat at 0500 and fished till 0917 got 5 kokes fishing was real slow till about 0855 when the fish bite turned to red hot that's when I boated four fish back to back. Used one RMT squid chartreuse with a Vance's dodger, and a green/chartreuse squid(pic attached) All fish were caught at the 27-40 foot mark of the riggers 4 fish were caught at 27 feet. I lost 4 fish at the net sometimes its a task driving, fighting fish and netting all together. Lots of fun on the water and a gorgeous day.

Kokanee Kid I go 10 inches, those are glow beads in the center of the squid I hit with the UV light before sending it down.

I have only been to American Lake once to fish for Kokanee and was skunked so good job, looks like some nice fish there.

Do you have to pay to launch at the launch on the south side of the lake by bills boat house? When I went I launched by the park (north side) and had to pay a 10$ fee, but a buddy of mine said you don't have to pay at the other one. Can anyone confirm this? Do you need a pass?

No fee at the WDFW launch. Make sure your parking thing that they give you when you get your license is up on your rearview mirror.
