Got setup at the campground and launched the boat first night. Slammed the kokes and rainbows on the east side of Buckboard launch down to the point. Weather picked up each night and down poured making for a fast retrieve to the launch. Boat traffic increased each day and I believe the fish just weren't as readily biting. Released most of the fish minus the ones that swallowed our hooks which gave us more than enough table fair we shared with the neighbors once we got back to Salt Lake. It was my first trip out to this lake and I was very excited as I just started fishing for kokes this year up in WA state. Sure is fun catching 2.5-3.2 Average kokes and bows! No monsters on this trip. I didn't take many pictures but here are a couple. My lil cousin Maysen with his first koke ever next to his papa and another of my new found fillet skills. These are alot easier than the 10-12in ones im used to back home! We caught them on big pop gear with 3oz weight to dipsy divers with small dick nytes and pink squid with worm as bait on both. The downriggers were out of service but it didn't stop the bite.
