E-Chip Trout Killers

Does anyone have much experience with Pro Troll E-Chip Trout Killers? I have a couple that were given to me but I have a hard time wanting to try them out for fear I'll be wastin my time. Any experience with them in Utah? Kokanee or any other species?

I don't have much faith with the e-chip itself but the lure works... some days they outfish the Hot Spot Apex. I re-rig both the Hot Spot and Pro Troll 1.5 models (they actually measue 2") for kokanee with lighter weight line for better action when trolling between 1.4-1.6mph.

I think it depends on the day, the lake, and the collection of apex's you have to choose from. Where i fish spoons would be my last choice.

One year the purple ones worked very well on Lucky Peak. I haven't tried them often since then.
