Admittedly I'm new to kokanee fishing. I have fished for them sporadically for several years with little success. After some research on the internet and this forum this is the first year I've had of consistent results. I've fished GP exclusively since it's close to home. It seems that most of the fish have been in the 12-13 in. range which is relatively small by the standards I see on other lakes. Has anyone caught large kokanee on this reservoir or is it just overpopulated and produces only this size of fish?

Like most lakes, it seems to run in cycles. Last year, or was it the year before, we were seeing fish up to 18 inches.

Landed lots of fish last year in the 15 to 16 inch range . Don't know were they go?
