Great day out on the water...no wind and lots of sunshine. Never trolled...all caught jigging useing my customized jigs. We started off with corn/worm/gel scent but things got crazy fast. Just to stay out on the water longer we ended up going with just gel scent... didn't seen to matter! All caught off the bottom in 80-100' of water. Ended up with limits of mainly 12-13" with some of the deepest red meat i've seen this early.

Beautiful fish SB, and nice job catching them with jigs!

Sounds like I need to tie myself some up, what oz. size weight were working for you that deep?

Those aren't bad looking fish for this time at Paulina, size wise. After the derby on saturday we may have to make a trip up.

The fish on the right looks like it has some girth. I miss fishing Paulina and like Dave might have to make a trip up there if the fishing does not improve at Wickiup.

Well done SB. That's a decent catch for sure.

By the way, is anyone doing anything on Browns ? I have had a couple of nice all Kokanee trips up there, but was thinking of maybe trying for the browns. Got a suggestion for a good choice of trolling gear ? Used to troll just in front of the restaurant across the ledge using stuff like F-4 silver flatfish behind 1/2 'n 1/2 Doc Sheltons or a small Rapala. Been a while, so I'd be interested in hearing what some of you like to use.
