Pipeline 6/2-6/3

[Downrigger]

We fished pipeline starting at about 7:00 and had 4 limits by 11:30. Hits came hot and heavy on RMT double glow pink squids behind RMT pink crush dodgers. We also had some action on a clown squid with a RMT crushed glow dodger.

We headed down to Sheep Creek for some rainbow action and caught a few. But, we caught a bunch more kokes that were quickly released. The kokes at Sheep Creek were every bit as big as the ones at Pipeline.

We spent Saturday night and Sunday morning looking for some big macs, with no success.

It was a great trip. You can't beat 40 fish by 3 o'clock.

I'm headed up tomorrow what was the size of the kokes. I'm trying to decide between launching from Anvil or Buckboard.

Update to my report for 6/7-6/10

Myself and 3 friends caught 70 fish over the weekend on the same things I posted in my report and at the same places. Many more rainbows this time and still no lake trout.

We had limits on the first day at Sheep Creek in 3 hours and had ourselves a nice fish fry on Thursday night. Friday we went to the Pipe and continued our spree, filling out the rest of our possession limits including 5 or 6 4th year kokes up to almost 20".

It was a lot of fun and we came home with plenty for the smoker.

And, for those that are wondering, no, I still didn't ask the fish that were released if they survived.
